Mohamed bin Hammam's appeal against a lifetime ban from football activities was yesterday rejected by FIFA's appeal committee.
Bin Hammam, the Qatari former president of the Asian Football Confederation and FIFA executive committee member, was banned in July after being found guilty of bribery by the governing body's ethics committee.
Bin Hammam will appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport against a lifetime ban from football activities.
