NEWCASTLE United will travel to Holland for a pre-season friendly against FC Utrecht on Sunday, July 26 (kick-off 2.30pm local time).

Utrecht finished 9th in the Dutch top flight last term and play their home matches at the Stadion Galgenwaard which has a capacity of more than 24,000.

This fixture completes the Magpies' summer schedule with six warm-up games now confirmed.

First up is a short hop across the Irish Sea to face Dublin side Shamrock Rovers on July 11 before away matches at Football League pair Darlington (July 18) and Huddersfield Town (July 21).

The Magpies then pack their bags for Utrecht before a home friendly with Leeds United on July 29.

And last up for the black and whites is a trip north of the border to face Dundee United in their Centenary Match on August 2.
