NEWCASTLE could be looking for a new Academy director soon after Richard Money was linked with the vacant managerial position at League One strugglers Swindon Town.
Sources in Wiltshire claim Money is on the verge of walking out on the Magpies to sign a two-and-a-half-year contract at the County Ground.
The former Liverpool defender was only appointed as Newcastle's Academy chief six months ago, having previously been the manager of League One side Walsall.
He has overseen a reshuffle of the Magpies' recruitment and youth development process, but may be tempted to quit the Academy ranks in order to return to front line management.
