MIDDLESBROUGH have allowed promising full-back Jonathan Grounds to join Norwich City on loan for three months.
The Stockton-born defender is behind Andrew Taylor in the pecking order at the Riverside Stadium and manager Gareth Southgate also has the option of playing captain Emanuel Pogatetz there.
Grounds, highly-thought of on Teesside, will not be allowed to leave on a permanent basis after impressing since making his senior debut at Liverpool in January.
