A NEW date has been announced for Newcastle United's Premier League away game at Manchester United.

The Magpies will head to Old Trafford to take on Erik ten Hag's side on Wednesday, May 15 (8pm).

The new date means the Manchester United fixture will be Newcastle's penultimate game of the season. Their final fixture takes them to Brentford on the following Sunday.

The match was initially due to take place on Saturday, April 20, but it had to be moved after Manchester United qualified for the FA Cup semi-finals, which are taking place on that weekend.

The game on the new date of May 15 will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
