SCOTLAND'S Andy Murray was made to fight all the way before securing a second round spot on day one of the French Open in Paris.
The British number one was up against a partisan home crowd as well as Frenchman Jonathan Eyserric, eventually winning 6-2 1-6 4-6 6-0 6-2.
