MONTY Panesar claimed Test-best figures as England clawed their way back against New Zealand at Old Trafford.
The left-arm spinner took six for 37 as the New Zealanders capitulated for just 114 for nine - injured batsman Daniel Flynn not batting - in their second innings of the second npower Test.
The incredible collapse from 85 for two meant England were set 294 runs for victory on a day when wickets tumbled at an astounding rate.
