STOCKTON Town U14s Yellow crashed to a 6-1 home defeat at the feet of Richmond Town on Sunday.
The TJFA Division One game was played on an artificial pitch, providing for a perfect playing surface for both teams.
Both teams enjoyed plenty of possession in the opening half, but the away team made their chances count, while Stockton squandered what openings they created.
As a consequence, Richmond opened up a four-goal lead by the break.
In the second half, Stockton came out with more resolve and pulled a goal back from Cook. They were also awarded a penalty but the Richmond keeper was equal to it.
Richmond were also awarded a spot kick of their own, and Dawson repeated his opposite number's feat, saving low down to his right.
Any hope of Stockton getting back into the match were dashed however with a further two Richmond goals.
