MARTEN DE ROON returns to Middlesbrough's starting line-up for this afternoon's Premier League game at league leaders Manchester City.
De Roon replaces Gaston Ramirez, who is suspended after picking up his fifth booking of the season in last weekend's win over Bournemouth.
Aitor Karanka is set to name the same 4-3-3 formation that enabled Boro to claim a creditable draw at Arsenal last month.
De Roon will play alongside Adam Clayton and Adam Forshaw, with Stewart Downing and Adama Traore lining up on either side of lone striker Alvaro Negredo.
There is no Raheem Sterling in the Manchester City squad, with Jesus Navas, Kevin de Bruyne and David Silva set to play behind Sergio Aguero.
