DURHAM have moved on to 137 for two inbetween the showers with Scott Borthwick on 84 and Kumar Sangakkara 30.
After his double failure in the first of his two matches, the Sri Lankan is taking his acclimatisation seriously, battling hard in testing conditions.
He was missed on 20 by Michael Yardy at second slip off Steve Magoffin, who has often found the edge of both left-handers’ bats.
Borthwick continues to play extremely well. He has also had to concentrate on survival this afternoon, while never losing sight of any opportunities to keep the scoreboard ticking over.
