4:41pm

Ossett Town 1 Darlington 2
Jonny Davis for Adam Mitchell.

4:41pm

Ossett Town 1 Darlington 2
In fairness to the officials, Wood received the ball in a crowded penalty area so they must not have seen it. Clearly used a hand to control ball.

4:39pm

Brighton and Hove Albion 0 Middlesbrough 1

Unbelievable. Ulloa misses a penalty after substitute Solly March was felled in the area by George Friend. He absolutely skied it.

4:38pm

Hartlepool 0 Cheltenham 1

Pools trailing, cross from the left curled to the far post and Holden didn't deal with it, allowing McGlashan to knock in from close range.

4:37pm

Ossett Town 1 Darlington 2
Nick Wood pulls one back in the 76th minute. He had handled the ball when controlling it in the penalty area, but ref played on.
Goal came from a corner, won by Kuba-Kuba after a flurry of step-overs when taking on Hunter, and from the set-piece Ossett scored, though Wood used a hand to control the ball when it was played into the penalty area.

4:35pm

Hartlepool 0 Cheltenham 1

Pools trailing, cross from the left curled to the far post and Holden didn't deal with it, allowing McGlashan to knock in from close range.

Ossett Town 0 Darlington 2
David Dowson for Nathan Fisher, 69mins.

4:28pm

Southampton 3 Newcastle 0 (Lallana, 71)

Game over (even though it has been for ages). Lallana with an absolute rocket from distance.

4:27pm

Brighton and Hove Albion 0 Middlesbrough 1

Boro have the bit between their teeth now, Danny Graham going close with a header from Adomah's cross.

4:27pm

Ossett Town 0 Darlington 2
Kuba-Kuba shoots! But it’s wide. Well wide. The ball trickles out harmlessly for a free-kick after the midfielder’s weak and mis-hit effort from 25 yards. Try again, Kuba-Kuba.

4:25pm

Ossett Town 0 Darlington 2
Keeper Sam Dobbs saves a powerful Galbraith free-kick after Ward had been fouled on the edge of the penalty area.

4:24pm

Ossett Town 0 Darlington 2
Rob Branagan heads wide at the far post after meeting a diagonal ball from the left-wing. David Kuba-Kuba sadly not involved in that attack.

4:24pm

Brighton and Hove Albion 0 Middlesbrough 1 (Adomah 65)

A goal, from nothing. Friend launches it up to Graham, who fires a low cross in for Adomah who taps home.

4:21pm

Ossett Town 0 Darlington 2
Long-range punt by David Kuba-Kuba flies over Bell’s bar. What a grand name that is, David Kuba-Kuba.
Hopefully our ma Kuba-Kuba will become more involved so that I write is name more often. 61min gone.

4:20pm

Brighton and Hove Albion 0 Middlesbrough 0

Jacob Butterfield on for Lee Tomlin.

4:20pm

Ossett Town 0 Darlington 2
Scrappy start to second half, neither team has created a clear chance. Strong defending by Darlington today with Tait and Hunter both a force.
Quakers again playing 3-4-1-2 with the back three being Galbraith, Tait and Hunter. Brown is in the centre of midfield.

4:18pm

Hartlepool 0 Cheltenham 0

Noble hit the post for the visitors, James knocked over from six yards for Pools.

Barmby gone off for Poole as Cooper seeks a lift. Pools finding openings hard to come by.

4:15pm

Brighton and Hove Albion 0 Middlesbrough 0

Couple of chances to tell you about, but they're both Albion ones. Jesse Lingard curled wide of the post from Jake Forster-Caskey's smart backheel, while Forster-Caskey saw a long-range effort saved comfortably by Konstantopoulos.

4:08pm

Southampton 2 Newcastle 0 (Lambert, 49)

Rickie Lambert puts the Saints two-up. The striker controlled Lallana's cross and fired in past Elliot.

4:04pm

Hartlepool 0 Cheltenham 0

Plenty of possession for Pools, plenty of passing, probing for an opening that's not coming yet.

4:03pm

Southampton 1 Newcastle 0

Double change for NUFC at the break. Ben Arfa and Yanga-Mbiwa OFF, Santon and de Jong ON.

4:03pm

Brighton and Hove Albion 0 Middlesbrough 0

3:51pm

Brighton and Hove Albion 0 Middlesbrough 0

Not a bad half for Middlesbrough here. They've defended strongly and created a couple of chances themselves. They haven't seen enough of the ball in the last 15 minutes or so, so I'd imagine that Karanka will want to see his side impose themselves on the game in the second half.

3:50pm

Ossett Town 0 Darlington 2
Goals by Ian Ward and a terrific Terry Galbraith free-kick. Darlington full value for the lead.

3:49pm

Southampton 1 Newcastle 0

I don't know how it's only one. Saints should be five or six up at the break. NUFC all over the place.

3:48pm

Ossett Town 0 Darlington 2
Keeper Sam Dobbs gathers ball at second attempt after spilling a Thompson shot, grabbing it just ahead of Fisher.

3:48pm

Ossett Town 0 Darlington 2
A Thompson volley floats over the bar after receiving the ball just outside the penalty area. Chance came after Ward held ball up following a long throw by Brown.
Ward a real threat aerially, definitely making a positive impact on his first start.

3:46pm

Southampton 1 Newcastle 0 (Rodriquez, 45)

And the inevitable happens. Lambert breaks through and squares to his partner to finish past Elliot.

The Magpies keeper had just made another great save to deny the Saints striker.

3:43pm

Ossett Town 0 Darlington 2
Mitchell shot deflected over by Nick Wood after a cross by Thompson on the left. The delivery was so close to Ward and Fisher.

3:42pm

Brighton and Hove Albion 0 Middlesbrough 0

Brighton have had a couple of sights at goal here, but Boro repelled them well enough. Leo Ulloa was in amongst it but the backline managed to clear.

3:36pm

Ossett Town 0 Darlington 2
Terry Galbraith scores a direct free-kick in the 33rd minute after Louis Horne had fouled Gary Brown.
Galbraith’s sixth goal of the season.

3:33pm

Ossett Town 0 Darlington 1
Fisher shoots wide when shooting across the penalty after receiving a Ward flick-on.
Gary Brown is now numberless after changing shirt because his previous one had been ripped down to almost the navel.

3:33pm

Brighton and Hove Albion 0 Middlesbrough 0

Brighton are making an early change here. Jake Forster-Caskey is stripped, ready for action, coming on for Will Buckley.

3:31pm

Ossett Town 0 Darlington 1
Ian Ward lashes home at close-range following a 28th minute corner for a goal on his first Darlington start.

3:24pm

Southampton 0 Newcastle 0

NUFC are all over the place at the moment. Williamson and Tiote have had to be separated in the middle of the park by Gouffran.

3:21pm

Brighton and Hove Albion 0 Middlesbrough 0

Bright stuff so far. Boro have had two chances since Brighton's opportunity, with Lee Tomlin forcing a good save out of Tomasz Kuszczak, after Luke Williams had curled just wide of the post.

Boro look comfortable going forward, but Brighton are not without quality in the final third.

3:21pm

Ossett Town 0 Darlington 0
Jack Walker, playing at wing-back, has a shot blocked at close-range following a Darlington corner. 19mins gone.

3:17pm

Southampton 0 Newcastle 0

The Magpies could easily be three or four down here. Elliot has made two great stops from Lambert and Davis.

3:12pm

Ossett Town v Darlington
My golden goal is 22, so that’s when we want the opening goal today. Ten mins gone, 0-0.

3:11pm

Hartlepool v Cheltenham

Decent start from Pools, lively. Keeper Brown made a fine low one-handed save to keep out Walker from close range.

3:10pm

Ossett Town v Darlington
Ossett’s Richard Patterson booked for tripping Jack Walker close to the dug-out.

3:09pm

Southampton 0 Newcastle 0

Eight minutes gone here and the hosts should have taken the lead. Rodriquez went through one on one, but hits side netting. NUFC have started quite well with Haidara showing some good early touches.

3:09pm

Ossett Town v Darlington
Darlington are inexplicably wearing their pink and navy away kit against all-red Ossett Town – would’ve been better off in black and white.

3:08pm

Ossett Town v Darlington
Two chances for Darlington. A Joe Tait free-kick has to be tipped over by keeper Brad Kilburn, and after the corner had been cleared Terry Galbraith’s flighted ball back into the area bounced off the top of the bar.

3:06pm

Brighton and Hove Albion 0 Middlesbrough 0

Early chance for Brighton, Will Buckley centred for David Lopez, whose shot was tipped around the post by Konstantopoulos. Great save by the Greek.

3:01pm

Brighton and Hove Albion 0 Middlesbrough 0

3:01pm

The teams are out and Darlington inexplicably wearing their pink and navy away kit against all-red Ossett Town – would’ve been better off in black and white.

2:56pm

Brighton and Hove Albion v Middlesbrough

Kick-off drawing close here in Sussex. Safe to say that Brighton need to win more than Boro do. But the Teessiders are unbeaten here at the Amex and will do their best to frustrate the Seagulls.

BRIGHTON TEAM NEWS

Leo Ulloa and Inigo Calderon missed Brighton's last game through illness.

Referee: Graham Scott (Abingdon)
Odds: H: Evens A: 14/5 D: 23/10
It's a fact: Boro have fielded the same back four for five games in a row for the first time in more than two years.

CHELTENHAM TEAM NEWS

Referee: Graham Salisbury (Preston)
It's a fact: In six Victoria Park meetings, Pools have only beat the Robins once.

Prediction: 2-0
