NEWCASTLE FALCONS stretched their lead at the top of the Championship to 20 points when they won 36-3 at home to Moseley last night.
Full back Tom Catterick scored two tries as they forged ahead in the second half after leading only 12-3 at the interval.
Newcomer Ollie Stedman, the back row man signed from Tynedale, was also among the scorers after making his debut from the bench.
Further tries came from hooker Rob Vickers, No 8 Ally Hogg and fly-half Jimmy Gopperth, who added three conversions.
