PRINCESS Diana was the only lady in the world to stop Britain from breathing for a whole weekend when she died.

She will be loved for centuries to come.

Diana was not the cause of the marriage break-up with Prince Charles.

I think the Royal Family should apologise and the Government should give her the recognition that is so overdue.

She was the mother of our lovely future king, William, and no one can take their place.

I agree with Nigel Boddy’s letter (HAS, Aug 30) which suggested that Trafalgar Square could be used for a statue.
