AFTER a period of time, I have returned to do light exercise for the Over-50s at the Dolphin Centre, in Darlington.
It was so nice to receive such a warm welcome from my lady friends and I was glad to see them all.
I have made so many friends in the last six years that they are like a second family to me.
When we take a break we chat, laugh and exchange news. That way the time goes very quickly.
As part of the exercises, we do all sorts of movements to music - we stretch, twist, bend and reach.
A few ladies have dropped out, but we have a good number of new starters, so it is encouraging.
I feel a little tired in the evening, but I know that to keep my body active is beneficial and, at present, I feel great.
Long may these classes continue.
Emma Thomas, Darlington.
