I WOULD like to comment on several Darlington issues.
For instance, we may be getting wheelie bins nobody wants but Darlington still has no state-of-the-art bus station.
The streets in the town centre are cluttered with stalls – yet the market place is empty – why?
Finally, to say that the wheelie bin decision is as a result of health and safety concerns is ridiculous. How many bin men have died on duty in the last 80 years? None.
Joan Hodgson, Darlington.
