WHAT a mess Britain is in. The health secretary couldn’t find time to visit the wonderful Friarage Hospital, in Northallerton, having cancelled two proposed visits because of Parliamentary commitments (Echo, May 18).
I think he didn’t want to face the music.
As well as cuts in the NHS leading to many job losses, in some hospitals patients are being treated in the corridors.
Now Theresa May is cutting down on the number of police personnel in the police force, meaning fewer policemen and policewomen on the beat.
