I AM pleased that the BBC Trust’s editorial standards committee has not castigated the former football player Robbie Savage over his hip thrusting dance routine during an episode of Strictly Come Dancing last year.
Mr Savage, who is now a TV pundit and famed for his 1970s styled soft rock hairstyle, received over 500 complaints after his pelvic drives on the show, but the editorial standards committee said it was acceptable even though some viewers found it “vulgar”. Some people need to get a grip and not be so prudish.
