AS an 83-year-old pensioner I would like to take issue with David Cameron over his recent statement during Prime Minister’s Question Time that pensioners are better off by more than £5 per week.
Could someone explain to this arrogant man that with the increase in the cost of electricity, gas, food, petrol etc and the increase in VAT added to the reduction in the winter fuel allowance, most pensioners are worse off.
May I also take this opportunity of suggesting that one of Mr Cameron’s colleagues tell him to calm down and to stop screaming insults while trying to answer questions put to him in Parliament. He is degrading his own party and Parliament in general.
Come back William Hague.
Is it just me or have MPs in the House of Commons reached the lowest level of conduct ever?
Could I also ask people of voting age to use their vote regardless of which party you support. Maybe then we would get the MPs we deserve.
EC Bradley, Peterlee.
