WHAT is the use of a court if when a criminal is found guilty, then won’t pay up?
My daughter was walking her dog on a lead, when it was attacked by another dog, not on a lead. Her dog required an operation costing £700 and, because she is a single parent, her children virtually had to do without Christmas. Yet the police can’t do anything about it because it was a dog-on-dog incident.
My daughter decided to sue the other dog’s owner in the small claims court to try and get some money back. The court ordered him to pay, but he won’t, so it will cost more money to take it further. So he has won.
Where is the justice here?
