I HAVE just finished reading the letter from Helen Goodman MP (HAS, April 11) and am amazed that, though she rightly praises everyone involved for their efforts in saving the paintings and the castle, she made one glaring omission.
Not once did she mention Jonathan Ruffer, the person who donated a reported £15m to the cause.
If this was a deliberate omission would she please tell us why as it seems dreadfully insulting not to give this man the greatest thanks of all.
