SINCE the last General Election this new coalition Government has broken promise after promise, so how can we trust it with the NHS?
The service came into being in 1948 after Aneurin Bevan fought long and hard to create what has become the envy of the rest of the world. Now, this coalition Government is trying its best to destroy it.
Passing the buck to local GPs is not the answer. They can barely manage with what they have to handle on a day-to-day basis now. What is the Government really trying to do – privatise the system altogether?
