REGARDING your front page picture headlined “Royal horror” (Echo, Dec 11). I notice that neither of the occupants in the back seat are wearing seatbelts. Rule 99 of the Highway Code states: “You must wear a seat belt in cars, vans and other goods vehicles if one is fitted.” Presumably the car in the picture was made before rear seat belts were fitted and that is why the occupants are not wearing any.
