TYPICAL of idiotic union leadership, they want to bring the Government down.
Thinking union leadership more honestly faces reality, knows there is waste and where cuts are in order and realises leading employees into loss of wages through strikes is not saving anyone anything and is always a contribution to loss of interest in and membership of unions.
Joe Gormley talked to the government and we kept a coal industry. Arthur Scargill did the opposite and not only lost so many jobs, but provided the government of the day with a blueprint programme for closing down all our major manufacturing.
Typical union leadership wants to wreck what is left of our employment base. In the old days they were called Communists.
