I READ the article with interest regarding the need for violent men to be removed from the family home (Echo, Sept 29) which I agree with, as domestic violence should not have to be suffered at all.
But this problem is not just a crime against women.
A recent report showed that domestic violence involving a woman attacking a man has increased by over 400 per cent.
If a man has committed this crime then appropriate steps should follow, but, in the age of equality, this law should also apply to a violent woman.
Why is the law just focussing on men?
