MIGHT I conclude from some recent HAS contributions that present employment opportunities will be limited to psychiatry?

That a great number of people continue to defend New Labour and Superman Brown is surely a result of dumbing down education for longer than previously thought.

They are living in a deluded fantasy island that must be cushioned from the realities facing the wealth-creating private sector and those paying increased costs of living and taxation.

I have visions of some demented town crier being forced by Labour’s Stasi equivalents to cry “All is well” as factory gates close for the last time and shop shutters come down.

Despite his personal views, and more the conclusion of sensible people, Gordon Brown inherited the good ship Britannia in 1997 without a wave in sight, calm water beyond the horizon, and an economy efficient to match most of the world.

Despite this, he got drunk on spending, mostly on the wrong things, didn’t keep a watch on deck, crashed the ship into the rocks and even the lifeboats are no guarantee of survival.

They already have holes in them, made by Mr Brown, and paid for by the taxpayer.

Labour continues to tell people barefaced lies that it looks after the working man.
