I SAW an economics expert being interviewed about the recession on the BBC. He presumably commanded a fee, but was stopped from speaking because a Mr J Bloggs sent an email or text in.
Who is J Bloggs nobody knows.
We have had lots of texts and emails, said the announcer, and read out two. We don’t know if these were made up as per Blue Peter voting, and they are an opinion only. The expert still sat there getting paid. He probably sat through the incessant adverts between every programme promoting the reality shows that only have a winner the BBC approves of.
Oh, and when is the next benefit show for Andrew Lloyd Webber?
Never mind, we have got digital TV now – you know the one that keeps stopping and going out of sync.
As the BBC are now experts at making adverts, let them pay their own way.
Adam Robinson, Bedale.
