HOW very appropriate the letter headed Odd Brexit is in the Echo (HAS, July 14) from Eric Gendle.
Although Eric was referring to Tory Brexiteer MP Jacob Rees-Mogg’s business affairs.
What was even odder was President Donald Trump’s comments about Theresa May’s Chequers Brexit proposals, sticking the knife in one minute and then saying he would accept whatever decision she made on Brexit.
The US/UK trade deal is on, then off and now back on.
However, for now, Donald Trump appears consistent on Boris Johnson, saying he would make a good PM.
With friends like Donald Trump, Theresa May is in for a really tough time.
