I HAVE just finished watching an episode of ‘BLITZ: The Bombs That Changed Britain’. The episode contained much footage about the suffering of the people of Hull during the 1939-45 war due to German bombing.
This should be compulsory viewing for all children between the ages of nine and 16 years-ofage.
Heads of schools, and other institutions where children are, should cancel a computer lesson for this to happen.
For the children watching, especially those who are not happy with their lot, it might just make them realise that life today is not half as bad as it was for those children during that time.
