I WATCHED the programme Ambulance featuring the West Midlands Ambulance Service on Thursday evening, and I have great respect for the job they do.

I was appalled at the amount of hoax calls they have to deal with. They are stretched to the limit at the best of times, without having to put up with idiotic pranks.

Surely with modern technology, calls can be traced, and then it’s up to the police to either hit those responsible with a hefty fine or just simply take their phone away. I can’t understand people’s mentality.
