RELIGIOUS hatred when expressed verbally or in the form of writing has been a crime for a long time and many successful prosecutions have been brought against the culprits.
This weekend in Manchester, prior to the Tory party conference, two dummy corpses were hung from a bridge along with a banner saying “Hang All Tories”.
Is it time to introduce a charge of political hate crime and punish those whose actions could trigger a very unfortunate and tragic incident?
