STEVE Warren (HAS, Sept 14) paints a dismal picture of post-Brexit Britain.
Would he prefer to be a citizen of EU Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker’s super state, an unmanageable, corrupt, undemocratic federation of diverse, incompatible countries, with the imminent prospect of newcomers from the Balkans, not to mention Turkey?
The EU will miss us more than we it, especially our huge net contribution to its budget.
Susan Willis, Eston
STEVE Warren (HAS, Sept 14) said it will be a catastrophic mistake to leave Brussels. He is very mistaken in that view. For the whole period we have been entangled with Brussels we have been paying in more than we have got back.
Joseph Young, Sunderland
