IN the past week, I’ve had cause to use the NHS for two separate reasons.
On both occasions I have been thoroughly impressed with each member of staff, from the receptionists right through to the discharge interviews.
I’d especially like to mention the Endoscopy Unit at North Tees University Hospital in Stockton who were superb in every aspect, even down to ringing me the day after my procedure to check that I was not suffering any ill effects.
A more dedicated team would be impossible to find. I have nothing but praise for them and their colleagues. Any plans to downgrade North Tees should be resisted tooth and nail.
