WITH the publication of A-level results there is analysis to spot trends in education and the number of students taking different courses.
One thing that came out this year's is the continued decline in the number of students taking modern languages.
This has been going for a number of years but despite this there is speculation that the current year's drop in numbers could have been as a result of the Brexit vote.
In other words we are saying “yah boo” to Johnny Foreigner.
It can’t be long before climate change is blamed on Brexit. It’s funny how democracy is a wonderful thing until the vote goes against you.
