GOOD old British Gas. I can remember going into the shop to pay the gas bill or looking for a new cooker. I remember the gas fires that looked like a real coal fire. The staff were always friendly and everyone was happy with the service.
Now the shops are gone so there are no staff to pay. Most of the gas fitters have put out to pasture.
With our smart meter doing all the work and the price of wholesale gas going down, shouldn’t the price be coming down – yet we get a 12 per cent rise.
