THE political climate is definitely changing and Labour fought a good election but despite their assertions to the contrary they lost.
In these circumstances a Labour minority government would be virtually impossible and would cause even more uncertainty which is the last thing we need.
Theresa May is definitely on borrowed time following a very poor and arguably needless election. The temporary “alliance” with the DUP will divide opinions. However in the circumstances it is probably the only short term viable option to enable a functioning government.
Both Conservatives and Labour have agreed that there is no turning back on the country’s decision to leave the EU. What our Brexit negotiating position will look like in the new political context is anybody’s guess.
Compromise will be necessary and the outcome hugely unpredictable. Prepare for a bumpy ride.
