MY step-daughter (aged 26) recently visited us for Sunday lunch. It was a wonderful afternoon but I noted her looking a little troubled as she perused her mobile communication device.

When I enquired what was troubling her she told me that there were no PokeStops in Teesdale.

I have no idea what she meant but it is plainly outrageous.

Once again Teesdale is left behind by the powers that be.

What do we pay our council tax for? I call on Durham County Council to immediately install some PokeStops in Upper Teesdale (possibly using recycled bus stops which are no longer used).

I look forward to a robust response from the cabinet member for economic regeneration and prompt action on this pressing matter.
