HEAR ALL SIDES: Letters to the Editor
WHEN the Department of Transport decides how to spend the £1 million allocated to improving green transport links across the Tees Valley (Echo, May 27), I hope they will give some thought to putting seats at all bus stops outside Darlington’s town centre.
I find myself using the car, because after a hip operation I find it too hard standing at the bus stop near Branksome School, even for ten minutes.
Being able to sit down while waiting would make all the difference.
