HEAR ALL SIDES: Letters to the Editor
I WALK daily as part of my keep fit regime, mostly in and around North Road, Darlington.
During my walks I have to dodge the litter and dog excrement on the footpaths, but matters are getting worse. This morning, apart from the usual litter and dog excrement, I dodged a used sanitary product and a full carton of takeaway chips.
My stomach churns at seeing such items as these on a public footpath. The female that discarded the used tampon should be named and shamed, as should the increasing number of dog owners who feel it’s okay for their dogs to foul the pavement and for the excrement to be left there.
