I MUST say that Princes William and Harry looked very dapper in their bowler hats and City suits at the recent Army Parade in Hyde Park, London (Echo, May 14).
The photo brought back memories of the recent rigmarole that I went through with my beloved bowler hat. How I miss it. To wear such a hat shows nothing more than classic English dress sense, and I raised my early morning cup of tea to the princes in a somewhat envious, but loyal manner.
Come to think of it, I would not mind having the same bank balance as them either, never mind their resplendent bowler hats.
