I THOUGHT Scott Wilson`s  column (Echo, May 15) sadly just followed most other anti-Kevin Pietersen comments.

He, and many other journalists use terms like "disruption and deceit", "detachment" and "large ego" etc. but where are the specifics?

In his book, Pietersen is specific in his criticism. He accuses the bowlers and Matt Prior of "bullying" the guys who may miss a catch or mis-field by shouting abuse and berating them in front of the opposition to the point where the opposing players are amazed at their behaviour. To my knowledge nobody has ever denied this or given any sort of explanation.

This silence led me to believe KP`s account.

The myth, gladly not perpetuated by you in last week's column thank goodness, that he gave the best bowler in the World at that time tips on how to get Strauss out is still peddled everywhere with nobody thinking for a second how ludicrous this is.

Its embarrassing how he`s been treated by the ECB and Colin Graves.

A Daily Mail reporter, who backs Andrew Strauss`s decision, actually wrote that Graves made the famous "Come back/County/Runs" comments while a bit bleary eyed and not quite in control. Oh it was just a throw away remark.

I can see a court case coming up. KP gave up a lot of money on the strength of what Colin Graves said.

Graves now says he never made any such offer. The man's had months to refute KP`s assertions that he did. He has only done it now because of the current fiasco. One of his own making.

I wonder if the ECB and Thomas Cook employ the same PR company?

The ECB owe KP an apology. They should ask, nay beg, him to come back. Although why he would want to have anything to do with this shower I've no idea.
