THE Government has announced it is selling the country's stake in Eurostar to a private buyer.
Why aren't these shares being offered to the British public instead through a privatszation scheme of the kind we had for the Post Office?
Is it fair to sell this business without us having a chance to buy it back for ourselves?
Even under the first past the post system David Cameron did not win an overall majority of MPs in the General Election five years ago.
So why does he think he has a mandate to take this irrevocable step in the dying days of his government?
