I AGREE with CT Riley (HAS, Sept 29) that the Church does good work in the community.
I was one of the RAF recruits square bashing in the early 1960s who preferred to wait for the Sally Army tea wagon rather than go to the NAAFI. Not only were they friendlier, they served a cup of tea free of additives.
