MONEY-HUNGRY people should not become MPs Foreign Office minister Mark Simmonds resigning because he can’t manage on £117,310 a year is a disgrace.
This is a guy who believes in “public service” only if he is paid even more. No wonder most people are cynical about politicians. If big, big money’s your main concern, don’t be an MP.
