NIGEL FARAGE claims to be ‘a man of the people’. This is a lie.

UKIP, in its 2010 manifesto, said it would introduce a flat rate of income tax of 31 per cent, which means those on the starting and basic rate will face huge tax increases because the bricky would pay the same as a billionaire.

UKIP’s deputy leader has called for the privatisation of the NHS.

It has built up its electoral base by opposing the EU and, more importantly, by spreading poisonous lies and hatred towards migrants and Muslims.

Over the past year Mr Farage has directly attacked and stigmatised national groups. The leader of UKIP’s youth wing resigned branding it as “racist” and “terrifying”.

The rise of UKIP has parallels with other far right and fascist parties, which are growing across Europe.

There is an initiative called Stand Up To UKIP.

This is an umbrella organisation which believes it is important for all good people to unite and stand up to UKIP, racism and bigotry.
