THE glorious countryside is right in the middle Darlington along the Crocus Walk between Grange Road and Southend Avenue where cuckooflowers – or milkmaid flowers – flourish amid buttercups and bluebells under laden horse chestnut blooms with squirrels chasing in their branches.
I expect the “grass” will be cut there soon as it has beside the A66 (Echo, May 10), so hurry on down there for a treat.
