AFTER the wonders he has performed at Crystal Palace this season, and previously steadying a sinking ship at Stoke City, I wonder if the Football Association will give Tony Pulis the job as the next England manager?
Why look overseas when we have managerial talent here?
I know that he was born in Wales, but we have hired foreign managers before.
I am quite certain he would do a fine job for the Three Lions when Roy Hodgson steps down from the role.
Tony seems to have the respect of players wherever he manages and he seems to pull teams out of the doldrums.
He would be a splendid choice to build a new England team around the Everton midfield maestro, Ross Barkley.
I wish Roy and the boys all the best for the World Cup.
Come on England!
Christopher Wardell, Darlington.
