THE Dementia Friendly Awards have been established to mark the second anniversary of the Prime Minister’s national challenge on dementia.
To celebrate all that has been achieved an award ceremony will be held in May 2014. Entries are now open and will close this Friday, March 28. I would urge you to nominate those who have been fighting for those with dementia and carers in their area. Entries should be submitted online via Alzheimer’s Society website at alzheimers.org.uk/dementia friendlyawards Hazel Cuthbertson, regional operations manager, Alzheimer’s Society.
