BRYAN ROBSON and friends are preparing to do a sponsored trek to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds for the Manchester United Foundation, a charitable trust. They are expecting donations from the general public. Manchester United is always boasting of being the most profitable club in the world.
It pays out millions of pounds each week in salaries.
I am sure that if all the players handed over a few days’ salary, which they could easily afford, it would dwarf the amount given by the general public.
