THE debate regarding who would win a boxing match between Muhammad Ali and Rocky Marciano (HAS, Oct 9) would be a no contest in my opinion.
Ali had a 12in advantage in reach, was 4in taller and, even at his lightest, weighed 18 lbs more than Marciano at his heaviest.
One may as well compare Roger Bannister to Seb Coe or the present Champions League holders to the Man Utd team of 1968.
