FORMER Tory MP Douglas Hogg – who became infamous for claiming expenses to clean his moat – is seeking a return to Parliament via the House of Lords.
This man’s outrageous behaviour helped provoke the public backlash that has led to trust in MPs reaching an all-time low.
It would be shameful if he is brought back to politics where he can claim even more tax payers’ money.
Anyone who helps him get there should hang their head in shame.
